Dr. Nicol is licensed by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners, has the Certificate of Attainment by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) by the board of Examiners Council of Extremity Adjusting.

Mary Nicol graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1977 with a Master of Education degree. She received her basic massage and advanced structural bodywork training at the Houston Massage Center in 1983.
